Application Products
Artificial pollination can be done by either wet or dry application. The best method to use depends upon a number of factors:
Use PollenAid® wet application products from Kiwi Pollen to maximise pollination
- in orchards where there are insufficient male vines
- in orchards where bee pollination is not working well
- in orchards surrounded by other crops that are more attractive to pollinating insects
- in all orchards when wind, cold or rain limits pollination by bees.
Apply dry pollen with a Kiwi Pollen Duster or Mini Duster to maximise pollination
- in orchards where male flowering is less than optimum
- in orchards where there are insufficient male vines
- as a general top-up to maximise pollination.
