The science
The Kiwi Pollen ATV Mounted PollenAid® Wet Sprayer has airshear nozzles which produce a fine and even mist of pollen spray. This achieves more droplets of optimum size delivering pollen to flower stigmas. Droplets which are too small to drift away and too large, create splashes. We have achieved full pollination in G3 Gold with 500g per hectare every second day in the absence of bees. Wet spraying is effective in the complete absence of bees and can be used in the rain.
